I have now added a forum again.
It’s powered by bbPress though I don’t think it’s the best forum software but it does integrate with WordPress quite well.
I will see if I can import the content of the SMF forum to it. If not the users on it will need to re-register if they want to post on the new forum.

I have now switched the site login to WordPress. Members have no benefits at the moment due to comments being disabled and the lack of a forum. This will change when I add a forum again.

I am suspending the forum for two reasons:
1. I want to use WordPress as the site authentication now and I can’t find a working plugin to bridge the two.
2. No one is using it.
I may add a forum again in the future if I can find one that integrates with WordPress and has the features I want.

I’m back from vacation now.
I saw a few things like Mount Rushmore.
It was quite impressive.

I just added the page ‘My Hardware’ to list the computers and other hardware I have.

I added the page fixes.
It lists various registry fixes I’m made and posted on the How-To Geek forums.

I have now integrated the forum into the site.
There is a login box on the right sidebar.
The forum page now has the WordPress header and sidebar like the rest of the site.
This integration is done with a few includes here and there.
The WordPress and SMF user tables are still unlinked as I couldn’t find a suitable bridge between them but I don’t need it right now as I’m the only WordPress user.
It took a few hours to work out some of the bugs with the integration.
I’m sure there are still some to fix.
I’ll do some more testing tomorrow on it.

I just want to say that Google Web History is a very useful and cool service.
I’ve been using Google Web History to store my web searches for nearly a year now.
It’s quite handy when you do a search and then later want to find out what you searched for and what you found.
One real cool thing I did with it was I just found out that I found the How-To Geek web site by searching for Windows Vista Contacts Missing Icon
It has neat statistics like telling me I have done 7856 searches since I used it and that I apparently do the most searches on Sunday and other things.
